Essential Fatty Acids

GLA 130 Primrose Oil provides a highly-concentrated amount of gamma-linolenic acid and linoleic acid which are necessary for the support of normal cell structure and body function. Essential fatty acids are precursors for the series 1 prostaglandins which are needed for T-lymphocyte function and for improving kidney function. Deficiency in essential fatty acids may cause hardening of the arteries and heart, leading to cardiovascular disease.

gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA).......130 mg

Linoleic Acid (LA).......900 mg

Oleic Acid (OA).......100 mg

Vitamin E (d-Alpha Tocopherol).......10 IU

GLA 130 Primrose Oil is indicated for conditions associated with the cardiovascular system, including arteriosclerosis, high and low blood pressure, elevated cholesterol levels and vascular fragility; for premenstrual symptoms, and rheumatoid arthritis; and for skin disorders such as acne, psoriasis and eczema.

Recommended Dosage
Adults: One to two capsules, one to two times daily with meals.
Children under 12: One capsule daily with meals.
