Milk Thistle Plus provides a high quality of standardized extract with the whole, fresh herb developed to ensure maximum regenerative and protective effects on the liver. Milk thistle contains silymarin, a potent liver protective flavonoid, which alters cell membranes and inhibits toxins from entering the hepatic cell. Silymarin helps to stimulate protein synthesis and inhibit inflammatory enzymes.

Milk Thistle Plus is indicated for hepatitis, cirrhosis, jaundice, fatty degeneration, hypercholesterolemia, varicose veins, and for protecting the liver, spleen and gall bladder against the side-effects of radiation, chemotherapy, food and chemical poisoning, and heavy metal toxicity. The capsules in this formula are from a vegetable source making it suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Each Vegetable Capsule Contains

• Carduus marianus (Milk Thistle)
• Standardized Extract 80% 100 mg
• Carduus marianus (Milk Thistle) 300 mg
• Silymarin, no less than 95 mg

Recommended Dosage
Adults: One capsule two to three times daily, 20 to 30 minutes before meals.
Children under 12: One capsule one to two times daily, 20 to 30 minutes before meals.
